Priscilla's Stamptacular Sunday Blog Hop

Hello,

This is for today's SCS Featured Stamper 121 our very own Queen of the Sketch Challenges Roxie(Rox71). I told you I had a couple I wanted to CASE. I chose this card to CASE. This one took me a little longer because I didn't have the image colored yet and I had to cut out all those leaves.
.
This is also for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog Hop. They are having their very first blog hop. They are offering lots of yummy blog candy that go along with challenges. Priscilla has 3 different challenges for her candy. You can do one or all. Each one gives you an entry for the candy. If you do all 3 you get 4 entries. I think I am only going to manage to get one of her's done though. The one I chose to do is her recipe.
.
You are to create a project using the following ingredients:
3 brads, eyelets or buttons
3 different pattern papers
glitter or some other sort of bling
2 stamped images
.
It wasn't until I had already finished my card that I realized I missed an ingredient. I missed the glitter or bling. Unless you want to count all my leaves as bling. Any who, I had made this for her challenge, but it doesn't quailify now. It's ok I like how it turned out anyway!!
.
My image is a digital image from Digital Stamp Oasis Sammy is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.

.
I kept her same basic cowboy theme and sketch.

I took away the 3 brads and added a button to my twine.
.
My image is a digital image from Dustin Pike that was released on May 28th. It is of course, colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I had to dye my twine with Chocolate Chip ink to make it match my card. My sentiment is computer generated.
.
This is also for another very special challenge.

The BG behind it is the Rubberband Emboss Resisit Technique, cut in half, and brayer with Tempting Turquoise on one side and Summer Sun on the other. I Cuttlebugged my other BG. My sentiment was borrowed from Jason, a fellow Doodle Dragon DT member. He had the whole sentiment on a beautiful card. The inside of my card will say '...and sometimes you're the worm!!' Brianna's Ballet Card

Hello there,
.
This is for today's SCS Technique Challenge 222 Hinged Card. Check out the awesome tutorial from Wendy here on how to make this type of card.
.
My digital image is from Digital Stamp Oasis colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I Cuttlebugged my fronts with the music folder. My accessories came from scrapbook stickers I got from Hobby Lobby. I computer generated my sentiment on the inside.
.
I have had this image colored for a while and was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to use it. Today is the day!!
.
I have made this card for my youngest daughter who has informed me she wants to become a real ballerina. She takes classes during her school time, but now that school is over, she wants to go to a real dance studio to learn ballet, and I love it. She is only six and has a beautiful future ahead of her if she sticks to ballet.

Doodle Palace Sneak Peek for May 26th

Hello,
.
This is for today's SCS Featured Stamper Challenge 120 Mercy (mkstampin74). What an awesome gallery she has!! I have several cards picked out that I want to case. The first one I worked with is this.
.
I had orginally planned to CASE it almost exactly the same, but the card kinda took a journey of it's own and it took on it's own form. I stayed with her same basic colors. I tried to stay with the layout, but found my image was a little bigger and had to change it to a square card instead. Then I didn't have enough room for 3 brads so I went with 2. All in all I still think it looks like her card.
.
My digital image is a sneak peek of one of the 2 digital images that will be released Tuesday, May 26th from Doodle Palace. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.
.
I have actually taken pictures of me coloring this image and I am in the process of trying to create a tutorial of how I colored this image. Several of you have asked me to show how I color and I thought I would give it a try. It is my first time in atempting to create a tutorial so please have patience with me. It may take me a few days, but as soon as I have it done, I will post it on my blog.
.
As for the card,

A Commissioned Birthday Card!!

Hello everyone,
.
Ok, I don't know if ya'll are going to like this one and I hope I do not offend anyone with the making of this card, but I have a friend who has commissioned me to make her two cards. One was for a friend of hers who is a handy man and it is his birthday. I made that one the other day for the SCS Featured Stamper Challenge. The other is for her husband who is in the military and is stationed in Cuba. It is his birthday also. She wanted me to create a sexy navy card for her hubby. I tried to tell her I don't really do sexy, but I would try to come up with something. This is what I came up with and it fits the SCS Ways To Use It challenge for today. So with that being said....
.
This is for today's SCS Ways To Use It Challenge 219 Stamp it Again where we were to use a stamp more than once.
.
Ok, when I think navy, I think of achors, ships, and even pirates. The stamp I used mulitiple times is the anchor from Ships Ahoy to create my BG. I downloaded the sexy image from my computer. I added pearls, rhinestones, and gold cording to represent teasure and added a key to unlock the treasure. The inside of the card says 'Is waiting for you when you get home!! Happy Birthday!!' Get it? Pirate's Booty is waiting for you when you get home!!
.
I don't know if she will like it, but I did the best I could considering I don't do sexy. I am giving the cards to her tonight at our daughter's kindergarten graduation. I am even getting paid for it!!

Digital Stamp Oasis

Hello,
.
This is for today's SCS Sketch Challenge 229.
.
I chose to go simple again. Not much to this card. I stamped out my BG's with the ABC's and 123's. I have had this image colored for a while now and was just waiting for the right time to use it. Today's sketch was the right time!! It fit the image perfectly. My black ribbon was actually a piece of scrap I had laying around.

My image is from Digital Stamp Oasis colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.

Sneak Peek of Dustin's Freebie Image for Wednesday!!!!

Hey Hey there,
.
It is so awesome to be a part of Dustin Pike's Doodle Dragon Studio Design Team. We get to see and play with all the images before they are released!!!
.
This evening, Dustin gave us the freebie image he is putting on his blog tomorrow morning. As soon as I saw it, I had to print it, color it and put it on a card.
.
I went looking through the challenges on the Daily Dare and I found the 365 Cards Challenge for Day 80 where we were to use plaid on our cards.
.
I colored my image with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. Used my Nestibilities to cut it out and frame it. Daubered both edges with Chocolate Chip ink. Stamped the stitching with a clear stamp I won from the first Digital Tuesday Challenge before I became a DT member on my plaid DP. Added Rhinestones. Put it all together and viola!!! I got my card!!!
.
The inside will say 'When you need a helping hand, I'll be there for you'

Doodle Palace Sneak Peek!!

Hello Everyone,
.
This is for today's SCS Color Challenge where we were to use Purely Pomegranate, Brilliant Blue, and Only Orange.
.
I chose to go simple today. It seems I have been in a bit of a time crunch with the household lately so I wanted to make a quick card.
.
If you do not know, I am proud to announce I am a member of the Doodle Palace Design Team
.
My image is a soon to be released digital image from Doodle Palace. I colored him with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I cut out the cake and popped it up with demensionals. I used the Happy Birthday from Bitty Birthday to create my BG with all three colors and my lushes Purely Pomegranate ribbon for the bow. Hello,
.
This is for last Thursday's SCS Ways To Use It Challenge 219 where we were to find ways to use tins. I made this last Thursday, but I incorporated it with my design team's challenge for today's Digital Tuesday Challenge where we are to use a tag somewhere on our creation. What better way to use a tag, but on the tin!! LOL Because of this, I was unable to upload this until today.
.
My image is a newly released digital image from Doodle Palace colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. My tin is an empty poinsetta prima tin from Micheal's.

Another Sneak Peek for May 21st

Hello there,
.
This is for today's SCS Technique Challenge 221 Tri-Shutter Card.
You can find a tutorial on how to make this here.
.
Wow, what a fun card this was to make!! I love it!!
.
All of my images are from Dustin Pike. They are a sneak peek of images that are going to be realeased Thursday May 21st. I colored them with (of course) Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I cut out the tiki guys and coconut strawberry pina colada drink and popped them up with demensionals. I actually hand made my sentiments because our printer is out of yellow ink and it won't let me print anything. DH went to buy ink for the printer, but he won't be back 'til after 5 and I couldn't wait that long. My middle part DP is from a pack of paper I won for a challenge at 2 Red Bananas a couple of weeks ago. I am so excited I finally got to use it.

Hello,

My DH took the girls to the water park today so I can have a break from all the running around I have been doing with them lately. So I am getting to make cards today!! Thank goodness. I am in need of catching up on a few things.

This is for today's SCS Featured Stamper 119 Joan Ervin. What an amazing gallery to choose from. I chose this card to CASE.
I needed to make a friend a birthday card for her handy man's birthday and this layout worked perfect for what I needed.
I kept her layout, but pretty much changed everything else.

I colored all my images with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I cut out all the tools and popped them up with demensionals. My Cuttlebug BG is done with Real Red using the Negative Effect.

All of my images came from Dustin Pike. The 'MR. FIX IT' is for sale on his website here now, but the dragon and the tools are a sneak peek of his images that will be released May 21st. Lots of cool stuff is a comin'!! The DT is burning the midnight oil producing awesome stuff with the new images that are coming out. Measurements for the Magic Box

Hello everyone,

I have had several ask for the measurement on the Magic Box a I made. Sorry it took me so long to post them. Been a little crazy. KWIM? LOL

The measurements for the one I created are....

Bottom Base - 8 x 8 scored on each side at 3"
Top Bottom Base - 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 scored on each side at 3/4"

Bottom Panel Layer -
8 at 2 3/4" x 1 3/4"
4 at 1 3/4" x 1/2"
2 at 1 3/4" x 1 3/4 "

Top Panel Layer -
8 at 2 5/8" x 1 5/8"
4 at 1 5/8" x 3/8"
2 at 1 5/8" x 1 5/8"

I have measurements for a slightly smaller box and I am going to work on measurements for a bigger box. For a bigger box though, I need to get some 12 x 12 paper. The Christmas box is the biggest you can make from the 8 1/2 x 11.

Hope this help and please send me a link to the boxes you create. I would love to see what you come up with.

Have A Great Day!!
