Angel's Landing October New Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the October Angels Landing Blog Hop. If you missed the beginning, head over to Judi's digi-stamps blog and follow the links. Today the Design Team is introducing two new digital image sets for October, Season's Tweetings and Penguin Chicks.

Well, Hello there.
.
Welcome to my 2nd Blog Hop. I am so excited. I so love the new images and can't wait to show you more throughout the month. For my first card, I have used an image from the Season's Tweetings set. For my layout, I used Monday's SCS Technique Challenge #242 where we were to create an easel card. I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits. I added gold glitter to the hanging Christmas balls and to make it match, I added gold giltter to my brads as well. Both of my DP's came from Hobby Lobby. I so enjoy using the red crinkley one!! It adds such a cool demensional effect. My ribbon is just some wired Christmas ribbon, and my sentiment is a pre-made sticker from K&Company.
.
What do y'all think?

  26. Neat paper choices for this one, Michelle. They look terrific with the metallic touches. The gold glitter ornaments go great with those matching brads, too. Beautiful job. It's so rich and festive.
