Halloween to Die For!!!

Hello everyone,
.
Sorry I have been AWOL of late, but summertime sure is busy with the kids and I seem to never have time to stamp!!! I will be glad when they go back to school in a couple of weeks so I can get back to a normal schedule and get to stamp more often!!
.
This past week, I had to deal with my oldest DD and her Championship Swim Meet. It took up my whole weekend. Three days, of watching her race her events. I am totally and extremely proud of her. She won 5 out of 7 of her heats and took time off everyone one of her times!! She even got 2 Championship ribbons for her relays!! As soon as we were done on Sunday, I had to head down to Orlando for my Copics Certification Class on Monday!! Yippee!!! I am now Copics certified!! I didn't get back until Tuesday. Then my DH announced a surprise. Sunday we leave for a 4 day 3 night Disney Cruise!!!!!! So now I have been busy shopping for the trip, but I did take time out to make this card this morning. I am hoping to make several more cards with the images I colored with my new copics later on this afternoon. Like I said, major busy this summer!!
.
This is for today's SCS Limited Supplies Challenge 231 where we were to use dies on our cards. We could use a stamp for a sentiment or to create a bg, but not both. I chose to use neither. I used my Sizzix Halloween die that I have had for awhile now. I have been dieing to use this die!! LOL I used daubers with Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust and Old Olive to give it it's look.

Lexicon Sympathy

Hello,
.
This is for today's SCS Color Challenge 228 where we were to use Pretty in Pink, Really Rust, and Not Quite Navy. I know it is a shocker, but I am not using my DT stuff for this one. I got my SU! order!! I just got Lexicon of Leaves and was ready to break it out and play with it. I thought this color combo was quite unique for exactly this set!!
.
This is also for 365 Cards where we were to create a sympathy without using a sentiment.
.
My sketch came from Midnight Madness Challenge #11

Doodle Palce Sneak Peek for July 21st

Hello,
.
This card doesn't really belong to anthing. I just wanted to make a card for the second image that is being released at Doodle Palace tomorrow, July 21st. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I didn't really have a place to put my sentiment, so for the inside, I am going to put 'It's a jungle out there.'

Doodle Palace Sneak Peek for July 21st

Hey there,
.
Well, I didn't have any fabric to do the SCS Technique Challenge for today so I went to The Daily Dare to find some challenges to work with.
.
This is for today's CCEE Challenge where we were to creating something for summer. Well, fishing is a part of summer right? I know my DH just got back from fishing.
.
This is also for The Pink Elephant Challenge where we were to use animals. I chose a bear with fish!!
.
This is for Our Creative Corner's Saturday Challenge where we were to use 3 different types of embellies. I used jumbo eyelets, buttons (yes the fish and hat are buttons!), and twine.
.
And finally this is for Pollycraft's Sketch Challenge where the twist was to include food or drink. Well, the fish are the food!! LOL
.
My image is a digital image sneak peek from Doodle Palace that will be released tomorrow, July 21st. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I compter generated my sentiment.

Dustin Pike Christmas in July

Hello,
.
I got to stamp before taking the girls and friends to Adventure Landing (Jacksonville, Fl water park). I tell ya I will be glad when they go back to school. I am so behind on all my DT stuff!!
.
This is for today's SCS Limited Supplies Challenge 229 What Were Those Colors Anyhow? where we were to use the colors of our wedding or High School colors. Well, seeing I went to the JOP to get married, I don't really have wedding colors so I went with my High School colors. Temple High School Wildcats Blue and White!! We were also to chose staples, clips, or photo turns. I went with a cool paper clip to hold my ribbon.
.
This is for yesterday SCS Ways to Use It Challenge 227 Seeing Double where we were to use two of something. I chose to go with the 3 brads on each side of my snowman.
.
This is also for both Cut Card Thursday and Three Clover Designs challenges where we were to create Christmas cards.
.
And my sketch came from yesterday's Stamp and Smiles Challenge
.
My image is a digital image from Dustin Pike that he released last week. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS, cut out, and popped up with demensionals.

Dustin Pike Sneak Peek for July 16th

Hello,
.
Well, it is that time again. Time for another Dustin Pike Sneak Peek!!
.
This is for today's SCS Sketch Challenge 237.
.
This is also for both Christmas Stampin' Challenge #25 and The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge #39. Both challenges were to create both the outside and the inside of the card.
.
My image is a digital image from Dustin Pike that will be released tomorrow, July 16th. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I did trace over it with a black SU! Marker to make it pop out more. I trimmed the image so it came out of the box a little, and I added dazzling diamonds to some of the snow. I used the Cuttlebug with the Snowflake folder on panel 1 and 3. The ribbon treatment is CASEd from the way Markie's mom has been making her card lately. I like the look so I chose to CASE it for this card. My sentiment on panel 2 is from Cold Play. I stamped it in Craft White all over except for one and it is in StazOn Black. I also added dazzling diamonds to my snowflake brads.

House of Haunts

Hello,
.
Wow, summer is extremely busy here at the Redmans House!! It seems I never have time to actually sit down to make a card these days. I will be gald when school is back in session!! Well, it ended up raining pretty good today which made it to where we couldn't go to the pool. So, I got the chance to make a card.
.
This is for today's SCS Color Challenge 227 where we were to use Lavender Lace, Barely Banana, Going Grey, Black, and White. Well, when I saw the colors early this morning, I thought 'humm, what am I gonna do with these colors?'. I was still tired so I went back to bed and can you believe, I had a dream about this card. I guess in my subconcious these colors were screaming Halloween to me. The only thing I ended up getting wrong is I used Basic Gray instead of Going Grey.
.
I embossed the house with Black EP. I then daubered Barely Banana on the moon and windows. I daubered Lavender Lace for the sky. I daubered Basic Gray on the tombstone and daubered heavier Basic Gray on the ground. My bg is stamped with Weathered in black. Then I took a dauber and smeared Barely Banana all around to create the look it has. I added Bat Ribbon, an Owl Charm, and some brads, and viola, this is what I got.
.
I am way behind on my personal challenge to create a Halloween card each month and make 10 of them. So, I will be making 9 more of these except, I to figure out what to put in place of the owl if anything since I only had one of this owl.

Dustin Pike's July 1st Freebie

Hello everyone,
.
Well, I am late to the birthday praty, but I had to get this card out of my mind or I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the party!! LOL
.
This is for today's SCS Featured Stamper 127 Kelly(shirmcat). This time, I chose to CASE this card
.
I kept her same basic layout and them, but added some layers and changed up the colors a little.
I used the same technique, Faux Mosaic, but kinda had to adapt it to what I had to use.
I changed the image but kept it the same kind of image. Even put the crystal brads in the way Kelly did for the snowman buttons, but added dazzling diamonds to the bottom snow.
Instead of putting white snow dots on my red panel, I Cuttlebugged it with the Swiss dot folder.
.
My image is a digital image from Dustin Pike that was his freebie for July 1st. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS, cut out, and popped up with demensionals.

Dustin Pike Newly Released

Hello there,
.
This is for today's SCS Featured Stamper 127 Kelly(schirmcat). I have a couple picked out I would like to CASE, but I am not sure I will be able to get to them all today. I have to go to a birthday party for friends today at 3 pm 'til Lord only knows when!! For now, I chose this card to CASE.
.
I kept Kelly's same basic layout and theme, but changed up the colors a bit.
I used a different image, but the same kind of image.
I changed my sky to Blue Brocade instead of white and added snow with Craft White.
I change the type of ribbon used.
I moved my sentiment to the snow on the bottom.
And instead of using the Cuttlebug, I added Dazzling Diamonds
.
My images are two different digital images from Dustin Pike that were released last Thursday. The bird is actually on the arm of another snowman, but I only needed the bird. So, I colored both images with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS, and I cut the brid off of the other snaowman. Both images were cut out and popped up on demensionals. I did outline both images with a black SU! Markers to make the images pop a little more.

Dustin Pike Sneak Peek for Today

Hello everyone,
.
I am back from Ohio. Even though it was a sad occasion, it was great to see all my relatives from my dad's side of the family. My grandmother's funeral was beautiful and we all got to take a rose home from her flowers. I plan on hanging it upside to dry in a couple of days and once dry, placing it in a case with her card.
.
The card I made is for 7 different challenges. I am trying to catch up on what I missed while I was gone. Many of my challenge came via The Daily Dare
.
First, this is for today's SCS Ways to Use it Challenge 226 Christmas in July where we were to make a holiday card.
.
Second, this is for yesterday's 365 cards Day 130 where we were to create something humorous. I thought a snowman trying to stay toasty was quite humorous.
.
Third, this is for yesterday's ABC Challenge V for Vellum where we were to use vellum on our cards. My bg paper is vellum with snowflakes on it.
.
Fourth, this is for yesterday's Belli Challenge where we were to use texture. I used my Cuttlebug with the Snowflake folder on my glitter paper and I used stickles on all of the brads and the snowflakes on the cup.
.
Fifth, this is for yesterday's Sissy Scraps Challenge where we were to make a Christmas in July Card for Heroes card.
.
Sixth, this is for yesterday's Storage Units, Inks, and More's Whachadoin' Wednesday Challenge where we were to use stripes on our cards.
.
And finally, this for yesterday's Sketch Challenge 236.
.
My image is a digital image from Dustin Pike that will be released sometime today. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. The sentiment is computer generated.

KLM Designs Sneak Peek for July 6th

Hello,
.
I managed to sneak in a little time to create a card before my flight to my Grandmother's funeral. I have had these images colored since Wednesday, but with trying to prepare to go to Cincinnati and not knowing when I will be back, I have not had any time to sit and make a card. Well, I am all ready to leave and had some time to make this card.
.
This is for many challenges.
.
First, this is for today's SCS Inspiration Challenge 187 Posters.com. I went with this poster of a frog for my inspiration.
.
Second, this is for yesterday's Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge where we were to use embossing on our creation and of course, a digi stamp. I used the Negative Effect with my Cuttlebug Folder.
.
Third, this is for yesterday's Daring Cardmakers Challenge where we were to use green and blue. I added some yellow and a little brown to mine.
.
Fourth, this is for yesterday's Stampin' B's Challenge where we were to use metal on our creation. I used hardware on mine.
.
And last but not least, this is for Wednesday's SCS Sketch Challenge 235
.
My image is a digital image sneak peek from KLM Designs that will be released Monday, July 6th. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I computer generated my sentiment.

I'll be gone for awhile.

Hello everyone,

I am sorry I have not been posting lately and I won't be posting for a while.
Tuesday morning my grandmother on my father's side passed away from a massive heart attack. I will be flying to Cininnati, Ohio on Saturday. I am not sure when I will be back as we have many things to attend to. I had full intentions of making a few cards with some of my DT's new releases before I left, but the powers that be didn't allow me the time to do that. I am planing on taking several new images with me to color while I am there and will make cards with them when I get back. In the mean time, I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July and I will see y'all when I get back.

New KLM Designs for the 4th of July!!

Hello there,
.
This is for today's Sketch Challenge 235.
.
This is also for today's ABC Challenge. The letter for the week is U for United States.
.
This is for today's Belli Challenge where we were to create something Patriotic.
.
This is also for today's Crafty Creations Challenge where we were to create something we celebrate. Of course, my is for the 4th of July.
.
This was suppose to be for the Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge where we were to create something red, white, and blue with buttons and bonus points for using the Swiss Dots CB folder. Only, I couldn't figure out a good place to put a button without throwing the card off. Ironically enough, my last card fit the challenge perfectly, but that one was already made and uploaded so it can't count.
.
My image is a newly released digital image for the holidays from KLM Designs. I colored him with SU! Markers, cut him out, and popped him up with demensionals. I used stars from 3 different stamp sets with Real Red and Brilliant Blue to make my circle bg's. My sentiment is a stamp from SU! Independence Day.
