SCS FS145 Welcome Christmas

Hello,
.
Well, I finally got to play a Featured Stamper Challenge!! It has been so long I tell you. One of these days, maybe it'll slow down for me and I get to go back to being able to play the challenges everyday!! LOL Somehow, I think those days are over!! LOL But hey, get it in when you can I say!!
.
This is for today's SCS Featured Stamper 145 Dawn, aka TreasureOiler. I chose this card to CASE from her.
I kept her same basic theme and layout.
I changed the colors, and only used 1 DP instead of 2 like she did.
I changed the image, but kept it basically the same. I even hand-made doodled like she did.
I used star brads instead of round ones.
.
My image is from Dustin Pike colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.

Angel's Landing DT Challenge

Hey everyone,
.
Yesterday, I registered to start college to get my PHD in psychology. I am going to become a therapist. I have had many signs that maybe this is my calling so I am going for it. My BFF and I have also decided to look into opening our own roller skating rink. There is only one here in Jacksonville, Fl and it is all the way over in Mandarin which is about 45 mins for just about everyone. Anywho, tomorrow morning, I have to take my college placement test. I know I will do good in reading and English, but my math is a little rusty since I haven't been to school in 20 yrs. So, today I am going to study. Guess I have to get use to that!! LOL Before I go study though, I wanted to show you what I came up for the Angel's Landing DT Challenge for this week.
.
This, of course, is for this week's Angel's Landing Blog DT Challenge. Judi has challenged us to 'Think Small'. We had to create something that was 3 x 3 or smaller.
.
For my 'Think Small' challenge, I chose to make a 3 x 3 Notecard Box with notecards. I used the images from the Toys On Wheels set colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits. My main image was printed twice and colored. I cut the wheels out of one of the images and popped them up with demensionals onto the second image. My embellishments include ribbon, and tiny hands and feet buttons.

Angel's Landing Peguin Chicks

Hello,
.
I am so late on posting this. I swear, the powers that be just would not let me get home today so I could upload this card. With hubby, and oldest being sick with a nasty stomach bug, my youngest needing to go to school, my oldest needing a school project turned in today while she is sick at home, helping a friend in a panic to find an outfit for this weekend, appts, and picking my youngest back up from school, I am amazed I am actually finally home so I CAN upload this.
.
This is for my Angel's Landing Blog DT card for the week.
.
I has chose to use images from the newly released Penguin Chicks. I used Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits to color my images. The Cuttlebug Snowflake folder was used on SU! Shimmer White paper for the background layer. For my finishing touch, I added Dazzling Diamonds to snowflake brads and the snow on the sentiment.

Welcome to my 2nd Blog Hop. I am so excited. I so love the new images and can't wait to show you more throughout the month. For my first card, I have used an image from the Season's Tweetings set. For my layout, I used Monday's SCS Technique Challenge #242 where we were to create an easel card. I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits. I added gold glitter to the hanging Christmas balls and to make it match, I added gold giltter to my brads as well. Both of my DP's came from Hobby Lobby. I so enjoy using the red crinkley one!! Dustin Pike's New Release

Hello everyone,
.
I just wanted to show you a card a made this weekend. It is attached to any challenges, I just made it because I wanted to show off several of Dustin Pike's new images that were released last Thursday.
.
I colored all of them with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS, cut them all out, and popped them up with different levels of demensionals. For my sky, I used a punched out scallop and daubered it with Cool Carribean. I edged two of my layers with a gold Ziggy paint pen. My sentiment is a sticker that says 'Fairy Tales do come true'. I cut off the Fairy Tales which is on the front and I am putting the 'do come true' on the inside.
