KLM Designs Sneak Peek for September 1st

Hello,
.
Finally, I got to stamp and make a card today!!
.
This is for today's Featured Stamper 134 Darlene (akronstamperdpk). I chose this card to CASE.
.
I kept her same layout and theme.
I changed the images and colors,
Did not add a grid the my image,
Added a layer.
.
This is also for today's Stamptacular Sunday Challenge where we were challenged to use scallops. I used my large scallop Nestibilitie to frame my image.
.
My image is a digital sneak peek from KLM Designs that will be released Tuesday, September 1st. I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. My Very Vanilla was daubered with Creamy Carmel. I punched out the center with my Nestibilities. Then I popped it up with demensionals to frame the image.

Very Vintage

Hello,
.
This is for today's Ways to Use It Challenge 233 Very Vintage where we were to make a vintage card. 365 Days Challenge was to also use a vintage image.
.
Color Create's Challenge was to use Ruby, Cream, and Gold. I used these colors, but also added Chocolate Chip. By adding Chocolate Chip, I am not sure if this quailfies for their challenge, but their colors are what inspired me for my creation.
.
This is also for today's C.R.A.F.T. Challenge where we were to use embossing on our cards. My bg is embossed with the Cuttlebug then daubered with Creamy Carmel to give it an aged look.
.
My sketch is from Lily of the Valley minus the sentiment.
.
My main image is from Hobby Lobby that I have had for a long time. I stamped it in StazOn Timber Brown twice. I cut it out with my new hexagon Nestibilities and trimmed the edges off. I colored the butterflies with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS, cut them out, glued them to the base, and lifted the wings for demension. I used a gold zig painty pen on the time pieces. I then daubered Creamy Carmel to give the vintage look.

KLM Designs Sneak Peek for September 1st

Hello everyone,
.
It has been a while since I have been able to stamp. I have been horribly sick for almost two weeks now. I finally had enough energy to sit and make a card today.
.
This is for Monday's Technique Challenge 235 Painted Grid where we were to use drywall mesh tape and Gesso acrylic paint with a brayer to make a painted grid.
.
This is also for today's Sketch Challenge 243
.
My image is a sneak peek digital image from KLM Designs that will be released on September 1st. The image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.

Dustin Pike New Release

Hello everyone,
.
This is for today's Inspiration Challenge 193 The Curiosity Shoppe. I went on an extreme stretch and chose this for it's colors only.
.
This is also for Heart Hugs Designs Etsy-Inspired Challenge #49. MelissaKate is the store we were to get inspiration from. I chose this as my inspiration.
.
My sketch came from yesterday's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #78
.
My main image is a new release from Dustin Pike and my mummy is from SU!s Booglie Eyes. Both of them are colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and bought some new nestibilities!! I couldn't wait to use them. I thought they fit perfectly with these images. I bought the DP last year, but never used it. I couldn't resist adding it to my card. My spider is a flatback.
.
I am way behind on my personal challenge to create 10 cards for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas each month. It seems since I got on DT's and it being summertime, I just haven't had the time to make them. With that said, I am going to make 10 of these to add to my collection I have already made. I have to admit though I am majorly cheating. I took the original and photo copied it for the other 9 I am making. They still look cool though!!

KLM Designs New Release for August 1st

Hello,
.
This is for today's Limited Supplies Challenge 233 where we were to make a card with a summertime activity. In our neighborhood, we have a huge oak tree in our kiddy park that has a swing hanging from it. My girls and I have been swinging from it all summer and after we finish swinging, we head to the pool to cool off. So my summertime activity is swinging from the tree.
.
It just so happens that Stamp Something's Challenge is Summertime also.
.
This is also for yesterday All That Scraps Challenge where we were to doodle on our cards, and for Wednesday'sFlutterby Wednesday Challenge where we were to create anything as long as there was a butterfly or fairy on it.
.
My image is a digital image from KLM Designs that was released August 1st. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.

Dustin Pike Sneak Peek for August 13th

Hello,
.
This is for yesterday Color Challenge 231 where we were tostamp an image on any color cardstock you desire, using bleach instead of an inkpad. Whatever color the cardstock bleaches out to is your second color. Add a neutral, if desired, and you're good to go! I chose Only Orange with the Print Pattern BG. It faded out to Barely Banana and It matched it until I daubered Barely Banana around the edges, but hey, it is still the color!! LOL
.
This is also for today's Stech Challenge 241
.
My image is a digital image sneak peek from Dustin Pike that will be released this Thursday, August 13th. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS, cut out, and popped up with demensionals.

Digital Tuseday Challenge #18

Hello,
.
OMG!! I just realized I hadn't uploaded my Digital Tuesday Challenge card. I also noticed it wasn't on the Challenge blog under the DT samples either. I know I had uploaded it to there, but I am not sure why it is not on there. I had made this last Saturday and then went on our Disney Cruise. I had planed on uploading it to my blog when I got back, but I forgot.
.
So....with that being said...
.
This is for Digital Tuesday Challenge #18. Carisa was our hostess this week and she challenged us to use bling.
.
My images are from My grafico. I loved all the images so much, I wanted to used many of them on one card so I made a stair-step card. I colored all the images with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. My bling is all the rhinestones on the flower and the glitter pen I used on the sentiment.

Dustin Pike's Newly Released

Hello there,
.
July 28th, I went to a Copics certification class!! Wow, did I learned a lot of new stuff about the Copics. I colored many images with the Copics I had, and I have finally put one of them to a card. Now, I know everyone likes my use of Prismacolor Pencils and OMS, but I wanted to broaden my choice of mediums to use in coloring. I will continue to use my pencils and OMS, but sometimes I will change it up, and use my Copics.
.
This is for today's Featured Stamper 131 Joanne(SleepyinSeattle). I chose this card to CASE.
.
I kept her same basic layout and the idea of placing brads on the tree for decorations, but pretty much changed everything else.
I changed the colors and the stamped images.
I added two metallic gold layers.
I changed the snowflake circles to stars.
And I took away the Build-a-brads.
I also added demensionals to make it pop up.
.
This is also for Pile It On and 2 Red Bananas challenges. They both challenged us to use only cardstock, no DP. Along with the only cardstock, 2 Red Bananas wanted us to use only one type of embellishment. We could use however much of the embellishment, but only one type. I chose brads, of course.
.
My main images is a newly released digital image from Dustin Pike. It was released along with 10 other images on Thursday, August 6th. Again, it is colored with Copics markers. I used a black SU! Marker for the sentiment.
