A LSC Major Mix Up!!

Hello there everyone,
.
Well, I originally was making this for today's Limited Supplies Challnge 226 Chinese Take Out, but somehow I got it all mixed up!! I guess the challenge proved a bit much for me. I thought I had all the info in my head right and didn't bother to write it down. Then I went to the Daily Dare to find other challenges I could combine the LSC with. I found several I wanted to work with. Somehow, in the process of looking through the challenges, I got the LSC mixed up. I managed to get the train part right.
.
This is where the mix up happened.
This is for No Time to Stamp's Challenge where we were to use blues and greens along with piercing. I thought great green and blue that is the colors for the LSC, and it didn't say anything about not using piercing. Well, come to find out, no, it was blue/red or green/browns. Go figure!!
.
This is for Stampin' B's Challenge where we were to use both wet and dry embossing. For the LSC, we could use Diecuts/Punches & Embossing Folders/Texture Plates. Perfect!! For my wet embossing, I clear embossed the blue parts of the train. For my dry embossing, I used my Cuttlebug Diecut.
.
Now this part, I knew I was kinda cheating (boy this was a difficult challenge for me!!)
This is for Stamp Something's Challenge where we were to use three embellishments. I added the three brads to my train.
.
I also used Monday's Technique Challenge 226 Faux Denim for my bg panels.
.
And my sketch came from the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge
.
My image is a digital image from Digital Stamp Oasis colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS.
.
So there you have it. This was supposed to be for the LSC, but it got all mixed up. I guess that is what I get for combining so many challenges. I guess it was bound to happen sometime. I chose to upload it anyway because I wanted everyone to see it!! Hope the challenge police don't come after me!!
.
What do y'all think?

  4. Great coloring, great paper piercing, and I love the diecut piece used on the bottom. It reminds me somewhat of a train track.
